Become a Member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (UOCSJB)
The Parish Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist welcomes all who wish to join the Parish membership.
Working together, we seek to build a strong parish community where all feel welcome and inspired, where you will find warmth, encouragement and spiritual growth. The Cathedral seeks to offer as many opportunities as possible for parishioners to come together in faith.
When joining, a membership form (see below) should be completed to ensure that the Administration Office has your most recent contact information. A membership pledge of $250.00 (income tax deductible) is collected at the beginning of the New Year; however, it is also accepted in instalments, without penalty. If paying in instalments, please inform the Office (780-425-9692).
Membership Forms
- Membership Forms are on the Cathedral’s website (www.uocc-stjohn.ca ) or in the Administration Office of St. John’s Cultural Centre. The membership form ensures that the office has your most recent contact information.
- Any information collected will not be shared without your permission, however, your email address allows all UOCSJB information (Cathedral Bulletin, Cathedral Connection, St. John’s Cultural Centre kitchen volunteer requests, or other updates) to be emailed to you.
- Information is also posted on the Cathedral’s website and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UOCSJB).
Payment of the Membership Pledge
- E-transfers may be addressed to [email protected]
- Cheques may be made out to UOC of St. John the Baptist, to the attention of Orest Pohoreski, Treasurer, at St. John’s Cultural Centre, 10611- 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 1H7.
- Cash payment may be made at the Administration Office of St. John’s Cultural Centre.
- All other donations to the Cathedral are income tax deductible.
